(FORT BEND ISD) – This week, Briargate Elementary received a donation of more than 1,500 hygiene items, thanks to community partners Fort Bend Transformation Church, NRG WA Parish and several elected officials.
The items included deodorant, soap, lotion, toothpaste and toothbrushes, combs and brushes and belts. The supplies will be distributed to students and families.

FBISD Board President Kristen Davison Malone, Board Secretary Shirley Rose-Gilliam and Trustee Angie Hanan also attended.
Briargate’s principal Jonathan Sutton expressed gratitude for the gift and shared his hope for a continued partnership to support families in the community.
“This is huge, this is amazing,” he said. “With the most sincerest heart and as humbly as I know how, I express much appreciation for the love that you are expressing to the students in this community and the students here at Briargate Elementary. Not just for our students, but for their families as well, this will make a difference.”
