Commisioner’s Court Appoints Three to Levee Improvement District #6 Board of Directors

(FORT BEND COUNTY) – Fort Bend County Commissioner’s Court has appointed three new members to the Fort Bend County Levee Improvement District (LID) #6 Board of Directors. The appointments of A. Ali Khan, Patrick Nguyen, and David Vrshek were unanimously approved by the Commissioner’s Court this week.

“We have incredible talent throughout our community. I will do everything I can to make sure that we identify and encourage that talent to serve in our community,” said Fort Bend County Precinct 4 Commissioner Dexter L. McCoy.


Nguyen, who lives in the Veranda subdivision, is currently serving as the Senior Division Manager for the City of Houston’s Public Works Division. A. Ali Khan, who lives in the William’s Ranch Subdivision, has a background in finance and accounting. He currently serves as a Director for Green Evolution, LLC. David Vrshek, who lives in the Del Webb Sweetgrass community, is a professional with a background in safety, quality and production.


“I am confident that the diverse backgrounds and extensive experience of these individuals will greatly benefit LID #6. With their collective knowledge, we are well-positioned to address the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead, ensuring the safety and prosperity of our community,” said McCoy.


The Fort Bend County Levee Improvement District #6 plays a role in safeguarding the district from flooding and promoting sustainable development.
