(FORT BEND ISD) - Crockett Middle School STEM teacher Richard Embrick was awarded the STEM Teacher Hall of Fame Award by the Houston Astros Foundation and Honeywell and was recognized at the Astros game at Minute Maid Park Tuesday night.
The Houston Astros Foundation and Honeywell partnered to present the STEM Teacher Hall of Fame Award to 10 teachers in the Houston area. These teachers “demonstrate a commitment to excellence in STEM education, classroom creativity and innovation and go ‘above and beyond’ to ensure their students are engaged and inspired to pursue STEM courses of study and careers.“
Embrick received $2,000, 10 tickets to the game and a Honeywell/Astros gift pack.
