(FORT BEND COUNTY) - Another Excessive Heat Warning remains in effect for much of southeast Texas today, June 26, with maximum heat index values of 113 or greater possible.
Along the immediate coast and across northern counties, a Heat Advisory is in effect with heat index values of 108 to 112 expected.
Dangerous heat will continue through the duration of the week and into the weekend, with no rainfall expected through at least Saturday.
