(FORT BEND ISD) – Thornton Middle School’s One Act Play ensemble has been named district champion for its production of “The Audit,” and is one of three schools that has advanced to the bi-district round of competition.
Crockett Middle School was named first runner-up, with its production of “Lockdown,” and Fort Settlement Middle School was named second runner-up, presenting “Anon(ymous).” Both ensembles will join Thornton in a bi-district competition with Lamar CISD’s three advancing middle school programs, Saturday, Nov. 4.
Six middle schools competed in the district round of competition, held at Crawford High School on Saturday, Oct. 28, which also included Bowie, Garcia and Sartartia middle schools. In addition to the three schools advancing to the next round, several students and campuses earned individual honors. Individual honors included:
