(FORT BEND ISD) – FBISD’s Small Business Enterprise Program Coordinator Jeanette Boleware has been named the 2024 Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Advocate of the Year by the Houston Minority Business Development Agency Business Center.
Boleware will be recognized at a formal event later this year for her efforts in working with small businesses in the greater Houston area to help them become qualified vendors, suppliers and commercial partners with FBISD.
The Houston Minority Business Development Agency Business Center is operated by Houston Community College in partnership with the U.S. Department of Commerce.
In December 2023, the Greater Houston Business Procurement Forum also awarded Fort Bend ISD’s Small Business Enterprise Program with three honors:
2023 Strategic Partner of the Year
2023 Award of Merit, given for contributions to the small and minority business community
2023 Bronze Sponsor of the Year
