(FORT BEND COUNTY) - Fort Bend County is asking for the public’s input in developing an updated Hazard Mitigation Plan. Those who live or work in Fort Bend County are asked to respond to a survey to help identify hazards that impact the community.

According to county officials, the project aims to save lives and property by reducing hazard vulnerability for Fort Bend County and participating jurisdictions. During the course of this planning project, county and local leaders and the community will work in tandem to identify risks, assess capabilities, and formulate a strategy to reduce disaster vulnerability.
