(FORT BEND ISD) – Fort Bend ISD joins other school districts and organizations in celebrating National School Social Work Week, held this year March 5-11.
FBISD has 16 licensed master social workers on staff who support the mental health and behavioral challenges of students through direct and indirect services to students, families and staff. They work as liaisons between families, schools and the community.
“The district recognizes the selfless and valuable contributions of our amazing social work team all year round,” said district officials. “However, we would like to give them special recognition and shout out this week, for all their hard work, in the trenches and behind the scenes. We truly appreciate all that they do for our students and families.”
