(FULSHEAR) - The City of Fulshear has launched a new mass notification system, Everbridge, that notifies registered users of critical emergency information about severe weather, water main breaks, police and fire emergencies, public health crises, widespread power outages and more.
Everbridge will deliver critical information to Fulshear residents and businesses regarding current conditions, expected impacts, and protective actions to keep themselves and their loved ones safe.
The mass notification system provides enhanced notification capabilities to a subscriber's home, cell, or business phone, email, text messages, hearing impaired receiving devices, and more at no cost to the subscriber. Subscribers select where messages are sent and how they are received. The notifications are geo-targeted and the city will only alert those in the affected area.
