Houston Texans Launch 5th Annual ‘Huddle Against Hunger’ at Rosa Parks Elementary

(FORT BEND ISD) - The Houston Texans kicked off their 5th annual Huddle Against Hunger program at FBISD's Rosa Parks Elementary earlier this week.



The program was developed in partnership with the Houston Food Bank and the Texans to help students better understand issues around food insecurity, hunger and the importance of nutrition.


Special guests who attended the event presented by Kroger included Texans’ linebacker Neville Hewitt, safety M.J. Stewart and retired offensive lineman Wade Smith. Also in attendance were the team's cheerleaders and mascot Toro.
