Police Issue Warning After Jugging In Sugar Land

(SUGAR LAND) - Sugar Land Police are reminding the public to stay aware of their surroundings as they leave the bank after a bank jugging was reported just after 4 p.m. on May 8. A jugging is when suspect(s) follow customers from a bank to their next location.


The SLPD investigation revealed two masked men driving a silver Lexus sedan followed the victim from a bank to the 200 block Matlage Way in Sugar Land where they broke the window to a vehicle and struggled with the victim for her purse. Thankfully the victim was not seriously injured.


Anyone who can identify the suspect(s) or the vehicle is asked to contact Fort Bend Crime Stoppers at 281-341-TIPS (8477).
