(RICHMOND) - The City of Richmond has awarded a construction contract to Caprock Construction for $3,699,460 for the expansion and improvements of the city and Municipal Utility District 116 South Wastewater Treatment Plant located at Williams Way north of FM 762.
This project will provide wastewater services to the southwest corner of IH 69/ US 59 and Williams Way and the surrounding area for current and future development. This expansion will add 1 million gallons per day of capacity to accommodate future wastewater development in the planning area.
This project addresses Richmond’s Comprehensive Master Plan goals to “enhance the existing community and promote growth in the city’s extraterritorial jurisdiction.”
