Richmond's Shred and Recycle Event Disposed of Tons pf Documents, Electronics

(RICHMOND) - The Richmond community took advantage of the Free Document Shred and Electronic Recycle Event provided by Keep Richmond Beautiful and the City of Richmond recently. This year’s spring shred event resulted in 12,980 pounds or 6.5 tons of documents being processed. The electronic recycling processed 2,258 gross pounds of electronics consisting of printers, audio/ video equipment, lcds, pcs, laptops, TVs, and miscellaneous electronic equipment.

The City and KRB will host the next Document Shred Event on Saturday, October 21, at City Hall Park Plaza for residents who receive their utility bills from the City of Richmond.
