(ROSENBERG) - With below-freezing temperatures expected this weekend, the Rosenberg Animal Shelter is currently seeking fosters, or adopters, for about 18 medium/large dogs that are currently being housed in outdoor kennels.

The dogs need to be taken Thursday and can be brought back Monday. Crates, food and toys will be provided.
“Efforts will be made to move them into pop-up kennels in our buildings, but ideally a warm home is much preferred,” said representatives of the shelter.
Interested fosters are asked to come to the shelter, 1207 Blume Road, before Thursday.
