Rosenberg Police Investigating Hit and Run Crash that Damaged City Property

(ROSENBERG) - The Rosenberg Police Department is investigating a hit and run crash that occurred near Avenue F and 3rd Street.


At some point over the last two weeks, an unknown vehicle collided with the fencing that surrounds the new city parking lot on Avenue F across from the Railroad Museum in Downtown Rosenberg. It is believed that the vehicle was traveling north on 4th Street and crashed through the fence on the north side of the parking lot. The vehicle was ultimately stopped by railroad equipment on the other side of the fence. It is believed the vehicle was rendered inoperable from the crash and that it was towed away from the scene without any report being made.

At this time, the Traffic Enforcement Division is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the vehicle and driver responsible for the crash. Anyone with any information regarding this crash, or the identity of the vehicle and/or driver, is asked to contact the Rosenberg Traffic Enforcement Division at 832-595-3741.
