Sheriff’s Office Arrests Stafford Man for Aggravated Robbery and Kidnapping

(STAFFORD) - Fort Bend County Sheriff’s detectives, in partnership with members of the Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force and U.S. Marshal’s Office, have arrested a 21-year-old man for an aggravated robbery and aggravated kidnapping that occurred in Stafford.

On Oct. 23, sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a robbery and kidnapping in the 2600 block of Jo Ann Street in Stafford. The victim traveled to the address to meet a female and upon arrival, was approached by a man with a gun who bound the victim and transported him to a second location where he was told to remove cash from an ATM. The victim was able to flee his male and female captors at the second location.


After an investigation, arrest warrants were issued and Jimmy Reyes was arrested and taken into custody on Nov. 2 in Del Rio, Val Verde County, Texas by members of the Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force. Reyes is detained on his Fort Bend County charges of aggravated robbery and aggravated kidnapping, with bond set at $150,000 for each charge.


The female suspect in this case is a juvenile, who was also taken into custody on Nov. 2, in Stafford on charges of aggravated robbery, aggravated kidnapping, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
