(SUGAR LAND) - The Sugar Land Lions are collecting non-perishable food items during the month of October for East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry's Holiday Food Basket Program which are distributed during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays and include everything needed to cook a traditional holiday meal.
Currently, the following donations are needed: pie crust mix (boxed), frosting, French onion toppings, cream of mushroom soup, canned pumpkin pie filling, cranberry sauce, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, canned yams, condensed/canned milk. Donations can be dropped off at the following locations:
1) Lion Ever’s Edward Jones office in Sugar Land Town Center (2735 Town Center Blvd N Ste S). M-Th 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. and Friday 8:30- a.m. 3 p.m.
2) Lion Lela’s USHEALTH Advisors office in Stafford (11104 W Airport Blvd Ste 216) M-F 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Sat 9 a.m. -2 p.m.
3) Lion Kristyn’s office Richmond Eye Experts (7770 W Grand Pkwy S Ste B-1). M-F 9:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Sat 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
The Sugar Land Lions meet the first and third Wednesday of every month at 6:30 p.m. in the Sugar Land Imperial Rec Center’s meeting room.
