Sugar Land Police Arrest Suspected Car Burglars

(SUGAR LAND) - Two men have been arrested after Sugar Land police were called to multiple car burglaries at fitness centers.

On June 25, SLPD Officers were dispatched to multiple vehicle burglaries at the fitness centers in the area of Dairy Ashford Blvd and US 90. A suspicious vehicle, which was described as a gray Chrysler 300 with black rims, had been in the area. A second set of burglaries was dispatched at another fitness center nearby.

Officers were able to locate the suspicious vehicle and contact was made with the two men in the car. The driver matched the description given to officers.

Upon further investigation, numerous items belonging to seven different victims were located in the vehicle along with identifying information of the victims. The victims of the car burglaries identified their property, and it was returned to them.

Both men were placed in custody for burglary of a motor vehicle and engaging in organized criminal activity.
