(SUGAR LAND) – The City of Sugar Land is preparing for the upcoming freeze by shutting off and draining drinking fountains, turning off irrigation and closing restrooms in city parks. The schedule is as follows:
Drinking fountains and irrigations systems at neighborhood parks were shut off Monday.
Wednesday through Tuesday: Restroom and drinking fountain closures including Cullinan Park, Settlers Way Park, City Park, Imperial Park, Mayfield Park, First Colony Park and the Plaza adjacent to Smart Financial Centre.
Thursday through Tuesday: Restroom and drinking fountain closures at all parks including those listed above as well as Eldridge Park, Lost Creek Park, Oyster Creek Park, Memorial Park (including Pawm Springs Dog Park), and Brazos River Park.
