(KATY) – City of Katy officials are reminding residents that the first regular collection day in December is Super Heavy Trash pick-up starting Friday, Dec. 1, then continuing Monday, Dec. 4, through Wednesday, Dec. 6.
Items must be placed neatly at the curb by 7 a.m. on your collection day.
WHAT IS COLLECTED: up to 6 cubic yards of furniture, appliances or objects that do not fit in the garbage cart, bagged yard debris or small bundles of limbs.
EXCLUDED: dirt, rocks, brick, concrete, liquid paints, fuels, oils, pesticides, fertilizer, batteries, tires, pallets, carpet, flooring, construction debris or hazardous waste.
